Smoke in as out.

Listed below is a technique to fully embrace all that is given and received with each breath involved in smoking. The most common and direct method of smoking Cannabis in a wrapped roll allows for careful attention to the smoke intake mixture with clean air.
This method when properly followed results in consistent attentiveness - which brings about the spiritual element in the ritual of smoking.

Smoke - each breath see ocean waves and the tide synced to the moon - many waves per tide.
Each breath brings growing cycles - 6 circles (waves) for every major energy point (tide).
The Babble: Spelled Out "Rules" or Guidelines
(We'll try and make this confusing)
1. First half (1, 2, 3, and part of 4) of the energy points (chakras)are for with a vessel, second half (top half) breath only clean air through the nose (
or mainly the nose as a beginner).
2. Each breath
with partners a breath
without. 1 with and 1 without (
smoke).
3. Breath in - clean air in nose; breath out - gentle air through nose.
[Similar patterns includes 2/2, 1/2, 2/1]
With energy points
we use chakras 1-7
to give reference
of where on the
body you focus
your attention.
With your right finger,
actually point to each energy point (chakra)
and count to 6 at each point.
Full breath in (20 - 25 seconds); full breath out (15 - 20 seconds):
Root - 6 spinning circles, counting each circle
Sacral - stack a row of 6 spinning on top
Solar Plexus - start to see 3 rows of 6
Heart - evenly counting 6 at each point
Throat - relaxing throat muscles
Third Eye - finger on forehead feel an opening heat
Crown - snowcap sensation pulling gently upward

Over time, build from 1 cycle of 6 to stacking [in 3, 2, 1, 1, 1, 2, 3, out 3, 2, 1, 1, 1, 2, 3]. This adds as high as one can focus (5, 8, 13, 21, 34 and so on).

In the beginning, you may find (
with this style of counting and focusing at each point) that you are full of air by the 3rd or 4th point with little room left for the throat, 3rd eye, and crown to add. Continue with posture that allows even breath from bottom to top. This develops flow. Notice all circles within each breath - each point builds on the previous point; each breath builds on top of the previous breath.
...As similar to a record being played backwards -
visually.
Fast in the middle,
Slow at the edge.

(
Starting meditation you move much to get into place and over time you move less as you are already in place for proper breathing. This fast progress followed by slowing progress is also seen in the focus gained during the counting process, as you move closer to stillness in body and mind. Over time you learn to think without numbers while maintaining qualities of supporting a pyramid of breaths.)

First breaths unwind the body quickly into posture.
Soon only little changes with each breath.
Stillness.
This is meditation.

The passing of a vessel from one Cantheist to another
brings about easy balance with breathing and reflection.
Allowing a moment of stillness
between smoking breaths
is communal prayer.
