Disappointment

Disappointment comes from failed expectation.
In this way, disappointment is self-imposed.

Expectation is an attempt to control outcomes by prediction.
In any instance this is misdirected energy.
It is an attempt to live in the future by applying what you've learned in the past.

All of this is time wasted
as it is outside the realm
of the higher power.

The higher power exists now because now is forever.
You only limit yourself by attempting to live in the past or future as you will never succeed.

When we have fully embraced our sacrament
and live in the house of the higher power
we gain access to the wealth of happiness
within us.
