Energy is either sent or received.

Mentally or physically makes no difference.

Sending or receiving misdirected energy damages the balance of energy in us.

As destructive as negative energy is, retaliation is as so tenfold. With retaliation negative energy is doubled, sent to another - perpetuating a negativity cycle. As well, the person retaliating experiences the effects of negative energy as it is harmful to anything on any end.

Battle retaliation with forgiveness.

In retaliation there are always two losers,
where forgiveness always yields winners.

Cannabis sacrament teaches us that retaliation is of no use - as if we are in the realm of the higher power the mere thought of retaliation seems excessive.
